My family and I love ordering from this restaurant. The food is always fresh, delicious, and plentiful. The owner is always pleasant to speak with and the service is always good. The ambiance is small but comfortable. Their lomo saltado and chaufa especial are our go to order, it's delicious every time.
This is a hole in the wall type of location but the food it's the best. It is priced right. Not cheap but totally worth it! Their chicken it's smooth and juicy. Seasoned to perfection. Their Lomo Salteado it's a hit every time. I think it's a better place to order from than to eat in.
First off, this restaurant is located in Roselle Park, not Roselle, NJ. Why the negative reviews? I have been to this restaurant at least 10 times since they opened several years ago. The food is always fresh, tasty and consistent. I always order the same thing - Chaufa de Pollo. For those of you who are not familiar with Peruvian food, this is very similar to Chinese chicken fried rice but it has more flavor (seasoning). I highly recommend it. It's delicious! Also, the order is a nice size portion. Most days, it's part of their lunch special which includes a free soda/bottled water. The woman who works the counter (owner?) is always very pleasant. Know before you go - This restaurant is ALWAYS busy around lunch time. If you are ordering for pick-up, call ahead. The wait can be as long as a 1/2 hour otherwise.
Just try it, there are a couple of peruvian spots next to me but flavor and value is here. The lady that always takes orders is awesome and I don't speak the language.
